Auntie Visit

My sister Stephanie and her dog Spike came for a visit and to check out the new house. We had a great visit and spent a lot of time outside. In the morning we took Spike for a walk and stopped by a couple of garage sales. Rocco found a toy gun for one dollar. But then he said he couldn't ride is bike back. So I gave him a lift while he stood on the back. I felt like we were the neighborhood watch team. We got a lot of smile as we made our way back home.

Later that day we went to the beach for Spike's first time. We all say that Rocco doesn't miss a thing and he didn't. He spotted a caterpillar while walking down the path to the ocean.  Love that about him.
The weather was perfect for being close to 5:00. The waves and air were calm and Spike and Rocco had a great time running through the waves. A lady had found a star fish and let Rocco hold it. It was minus tide so there was lots of things to see.

After the long day of moving, Spike was pooped. This dog will swim until… well I don't think he does stop until you make him. He was so tired and couldn't wait to get home and sleep on the couch. We had a good family visit and we can't wait for the next one.
