Grandpa Shelley Is In Town

My Dad came to town last month. (yes, I can get a little behind) We had a great visit and Rocco warmed right up to him. We had fun playing in the huge leaf piles with the neighbor kids, rode our bikes, went to the park and made some new recipes.

I love my Dad. Thanks for making the trip up here.

On the 9th Day of Christmas...

On ninth day of Christmas Rocco celebrates with Pop and Mimi and we all learn it is not what we get for Christmas that is important but spending it with family is the best gift of all.

The best present of all is Pop's healthy and safety after a car accident. Spending Christmas together is what is important no matter where it is held. We are blessed that Pop is ok.

On the eighth day of Christmas Rocco rides the light rail to Christmas in the park with Mom and Dad in toe to make wonderful memories this holiday season.

On the seventh day of Christmas Rocco imagines what it is like to have a red bag full of toys for all the boys and girls.

On the sixth day of Christmas Rocco takes another ride on a holiday train filled with lots of families spreading Christmas cheer.

(I love this video. Rocco was doing a long train horn and it is just classic. This train ride was so much fun. So many families out celebrating Christmas, signing and smiling. It was a great night.)

On the fifth day of Christmas Rocco picks a candy cane from the tree and sweetens his night with a decoration that is good to eat.

On the fourth day of Christmas Rocco hangs some ornaments that were given to him on his first Christmas, but he better hide that grumpy face before Santa comes to town.

On the third day of Christmas the tree gets wrapped in lights and the Milazzo's shine bright for all to see.

On the 2nd Day of Christmas...

On the second day of Christmas Mimi and Rocco decorate a gingerbread house and fill not only the tummy with white snow but a roof top to hold silly children playing on the roof.
