Family Time

Viking at the Party

Rocco was invited to our neighbor Aiden's 10th birthday party. They had it at the local park and played flag football. This was Rocco's first time playing flag football. Earlier in the day, Rocco scored this sweet viking outfit from our neighbor Diana. Rocco loved it so much he wanted to wear it to the party. Well not only did he wear it to the party, he wore it the whole time they played football. It was classic. All the big kids that he was pretty cool. Little did Rocco know just how cool this moment really is.

Auntie Visit

We visited Auntie and Spike at their new place in Pacific Grove. It is just beautiful there. After Rocco got lots of love from Spike, we walked to the beach for some good rock climbing and shell findings. Rocco really enjoyed the rocks here.

Sink This Titanic

Rocco is kind of TOTALLY obsessed with the titanic and let me tell you, it is hard to find titanic toys.  We had been searching on the web for something that didn't take months to build, can go in water and wasn't too expensive. We found a tin titanic boat for 20 dollars and purchased it.

This toy is so sharp it has cut me, Rocco and a friend. We tried to put tape all around it and it didn't really work. We wrote a review on the product and said, this is diffidently not a baby toy, too sharp. The boat is supposed to move on water after you light a candle in the center and place the top on. It didn't work that well and all Rocco really wanted to do with it is sink it!

He likes to watch it sink, just like he watched his train. Right down in the action and step by step. I just love this kid.

That Look

That squint eye that Rocco gives me when he turns his head to the side and talks to me about all the facts that he knows.

Morning Bird Watching

I just love the way Rocco hugs Wednesday. It is so soft, kind and with his eyes always closed. I just love it and love when I get to capture it. Wednesday takes look out on the couch throughout the day watching dogs, people and of course birds.
