Rocco and His Grandpa John

The Milazzo men went to Gilroy Gardens and Jared snapped these great moments.

What To Do On A Day Off of Work…?

Go ride the train in the Santa Cruz mountains with Rocco. This was a great Mommy and Rocco day. Yes it was a cold winter day in the mountains. Yes it was misty since Rocco likes to sit right behind the big steam engine. Yes it was a day that was filled with smiles and hugs. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

I really enjoy family time, but I also really enjoy one one one time with my Rocco. We had a great day riding the Sonora steam train at Roaring Camp. It was a Monday morning and the train was pretty much empty. The conductor told me the first three cars were for the group from Korea. I told him, my Rocco likes to sit right behind the engine and we would wait in line to see if there would be any open seats. They told everybody to only sit on the right side since the seats on the left were wet. So the first three cars were empty on that side. Nothing a blanket can't help. So Rocco and I took our seats right behind the engine on the right side.

We took pictures of each other, enjoyed the glimpse of sunshine we got through the tree's, sang "she'll be coming around the mountain," ate snacks, snuggled and enjoyed being in that moment. I felt like no one else was on that train but us. We sure did soak it all in.

I Have Seen That Picture Before

Classic Shelley humor - I love it!! Thanks to my Dad and Aunt Lynn for being just who you are.

Cleaning Out the Cobwebs

Wait, must get some posts in before January is over, so lets clean out these blog cobwebs.

Rocco got a bath set from his potty training treasure chest back in December. The set lasted a few baths and then it just wasn't as fun without the blue foam. But these pictures and that smile will last forever thanks to these bath pictures. Yes, you all know I love bath photos.
