Bird Watching

Another beautiful low tide adventure with the kids. They were trying to get as close as they could to this herring. I just love the closeness to nature we get to experience living near the beach. I love that they can spend hours staying busy in the ocean. Riding waves, playing in the sand, exploring and moving their growing bodies. Nothing better. 

Fancy Day at School

The Milazzo's don't do fancy that much, although I do fancy more than I did in my twenties. Rocco had fancy day at school so I got him a new shirt and tie. The hat is from our neighbor Diana. It barely fit his big head, he gets that from his Dad.

He is just so handsome it makes my heart wiggle. I had him and his best friend Tom take a picture together. Tom is wearing one of Rocco's shirts that I bought online and was way to big. It fit him perfectly.

A dog walk every day.
Cookies and Milk for Rocco (just about) every day.  Although this day he got it in a fancy cup.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten has been wonderful. Rocco is growing and learning so much. It is so fun to watch him learn to read, add, subtract and interact with tons of new friends. His teacher Mrs. Pereira is so kind. She fits with Rocco just right.

Nurf and Surf

Yep, this is what my house usually looks like. Nurf and Surf dude. The neighborhood is  filled with boys and they all run to our house to play. I love being invloded with all the activities. Surf and nerf for life.

Dad - The Best Dad

Dad, this is a picture of me and you back when relationships were being founded. You taking the time to spend with me one and one. Do I remember it? Yes I do. Do I value it?  Yes I do. Did it shape me? Yes it did. Do I love you for it? Yes I do!!

Does It Get Any Better?

My cousin Sharon sent this to me for my 40th birthday. I just love the smiles all the way through the video. No need for queue's. It just happens naturally. This is a true testament of our up bringing. Family, Love and Togetherness. How can you not smile when everyone you love is in the room with you.

Thanks for sending this Sharon. I love you more than words. Higher than an eagle. If I could have you whispering in my ear in my ear today, I would giving nothing less. You truly are a part of me, and for that I am grateful.

Learning New Things All the Time

Started with squatting on the board and ended with standing on the board. Push yourself and you will learn new things. Have talented neighborhood friends and they help push you even further.

40 Yep I Said it 40!

Jared surprised me with love from all these lovely people. The pictures are fuzzy, but so was my eye sight this night. I am so glad that Rocco was there for dinner. It was so fun to watch him interact with all my friends. I love that both San Jose and Santa Cruz friends were present. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Yes, this was all for my um.... 40th birthday party. Sounds weird to say and to write.

I'll Be In Here

We got Rocco and new toy chest. First thing he did was hop inside and read a book in it. He had to enjoy it before Dad filled in up with toys.

I'll Shred this Driveway

Always growing everyday. Not just in knowledge and height, but in all aspects. Running faster, jumping higher, riding faster and now, standing up down the drive way on the skate board. I just love witnessing these moments. Glad I capture them live for everyone to enjoy.

It was dark when he learned. Tomas and Mason just came over which was perfect motivation. We were outside checking out the moon in the telescope and skating in the moon light. It was a great night. As Rocco but it, "I am not even cold."

Briggs First Day at the Beach

Wednesday showed Briggs the ropes at the beach for his first time. He is such a little hopper. It is so fun to watch. Wednesday is all about the ball and Briggs just wanted to follow Wednesday around. They had a great time. Rocco got to show Mimi and Pop his buggy boarding skills.
