First Official Play Date

Jared and I dropped Rocco off for his first (and ours) official play date at the Hawkin's house. (aka Allison's house) Jared and I thought, wait, what are we going to do? So we went to lunch and ate at one of our young love spots to eat, Taiwan in Willow Glen. We used to eat there at least 4 times a week during their lunch specials back in the early 90's. We would gather up enough change to pay the bill and leave a 2 dollar tip. Somewhere around $12.

We talked about Rocco and other great things and then went to Toy R Us to get some things for Rocco's Easter basket. After two long hours (ha ha) we went to pick up Rocco. He had a great time painting, playing doctor (uh ho) and exploring in Allison's room.

Skateboard Push - Mom Move Out of My Way

Here is Rocco and Jared riding around on Jared's skateboard. It was a cold and rainy day, but when the rain stopped for just a little bit we headed outside for some fun. We ended up coming in just in time for the hail/rain started again.

Rocco learned the knee push for the first time. He also learned that Mom is going to be right there to get it all on camera.

What I love about the video:

1. The first 30 seconds of Rocco's pushing, the pushes are so small

2. The animals and how they like to hang out in the court with us

3. Me telling Rocco three times that I am not in his way. Concentrate on your form son.

Official First Dentist

On March 13th Rocco went to his first dentist appointment. It also started in the exact spot of mom's first dentist appointment in San Jose with the same dentist Dr. Kirokas.

The session began with a few minor tears and ended with smiles. Once Rocco was able to take charge of his own tools, the smile turned on. He loved being in charged of the suction tool. Oh and Thomas was on the TV so that help a lot. The first session was a success. Now it is our job Rocco to keep brushing those sugar bugs and getting good reports.

We sing the ABC's while brushing now, those bugs have nothing on us. C is for clean.

On My Mind Today

I wasn't going to post this picture with the post below on golf land, well, I was and then I didn't. Not sure why. Then I read a past post I did on the topic of "On my mind today." This picture is me, this is what is on my mind today.

A Classic - Golf Land

The Milazzo's went to good old Golf Land for some weekend fun. Rocco's swing was a little wild and all over the place as was Jared's. Just kidding JaredBoy. If we took too long at the hole, Rocco wanted to help us and hand put the ball in the hole. We didn't keep score, wait yes we did, family day = we all score.

Maybe my kisses on Rocco distracted him from his game.
